A curious book: the first half contains forty-five designs for stick-style houses, each with a price for construction in New York; the second part gives general building conditions at about four hundred towns across the United States, each with relative cost of materials and labor.  The errata slip on the copyright page gives the correct copyright date as 1875.  The spine is sunned, else a fine, bright copy of a scarce book.
