These powerful and haunting wood block prints -- original impressions by the artist -- eerily foreshadow the stifling regimentation and horror of the Fascist era.  Dall' Alto Op No 1 includes some of Boccolari's most important images, including, the cemetery, the assignation under starry sky, the procession, the war, the fair, and the net, as well as curiosity and the return, retaining the original wood-block printed covers and cord.  The reserved artist's edition signed and dedicated by Boccolari, all in very good fresh condition.
