An artists sketch book of sixteen detailed views of French mediaeval and Renaissance houses, churches, and towns featuring major architectural details -- chimneys, buttresses, windows, etc.  All pencil sketches many highlighted in pastels -- presumably done by an architect.  The towns identified are Blois, Dijon and Vitre and are dated between August 1884 to September 24, 1887.  Some plates loose, many with tissue covers.
